Lawsuit Funding is Appealing to Financially Strapped Plaintiffs

“After 14 months, my case finally went to trial and I won. The nightmare I was living had come to an end. That is, until my attorney told me the case was appealed.  I was barely paying my bills the first time around; there was no way I could financially afford to wait out an appeal.  Fortunately, I learned I could get a “lawsuit loan.”  Within 24 hours, I applied and was granted $2,000.  Three months later, I was able to get another $1,500 before my case finally settled a second time, in my favor.  I know I could not have survived without the help of Lawsuit Financial. Thanks for all you did.  Your company was a life-saver for me and my family.”  P.J.

Although many plaintiffs will use the term “lawsuit loan”, it is important to note that this type of funding is NOT a lawsuit loan.  It is a non-recourse cash advance meaning the money funded to the client is paid back only if the case successfully settles.  If the plaintiff loses their case, the cash advance is not repaid.  Unlike a traditional loan, having a job, collateral, or even good credit are not required to obtain lawsuit funding because the advance is provided based solely on the merits of the case.

In most cases, lawsuit funding will be used for life needs – mortgage, rent, medical bills, and day-to-day living expenses such as groceries.  With the financially stress removed, plaintiffs are able to wait for full and fair compensation.

At Lawsuit Financial, we believe that we provide the best customer service in the industry; our top priority is to remove a plaintiff’s financial burden as quickly as possible.  In many cases, we can provide cash within 24 - 48 hours from the time we receive your application.

We are known as the industry leader among the legal profession which is why many law firms nationwide feel confident sending their clients to us. We make sure that they know that unless the case settles, we do not get paid.  We also provide a recovery compromise.  If the case settles or wins and cannot afford the payback, we work with the attorney to a settlement appropriate compromise.

When you are a plaintiff in a personal injury case and family and friends cannot help you financially, don’t lose hope.  Lawsuit Financial will do whatever it can to assist you in paying your bills and supporting your family.  Contact us today and see how we may be able to help you.

Lawsuit Funding Can Help With Taxes

If you have been seriously injured in an auto accident and filed a personal injury lawsuit, waiting months, even years for compensation may not be an option. Medical expenses, mortgage, car payments, and regular daily expenses can add up especially if you are unable to work.  Can you imagine the additional devastation if you are unable to pay your taxes?

The IRS does not care that you are struggling financially; their only concern is whether you paid your taxes.  If you don’t, the IRS will file a lien against you which will only increase your financial problems and ruin your credit.  For many plaintiffs, lawsuit funding can bring welcome relief.

Lawsuit funding is a non-recourse cash advance to give plaintiffs some financial flexibility, allowing them to avoid a less-than-fair settlement.  The application process is quite simple.  A plaintiff completes a one-page online application. Once the funding company receives case documentation, the case is reviewed for funding.  A decision is based on the strength of the case and the likelihood of a successful settlement. If approved, a contract is signed and funds can be released within 24 – 48 hours.  Use the funding to relieve your financial burden, whatever it is, even taxes.  There are no monthly payments, in fact, nothing is due until you successfully settle your case.  If you lose, the lawsuit cash advance is completely waived.

If you are in a pending lawsuit and wondering how you will pay your taxes, call Lawsuit Financial.  There is no sense in having debt for your home and vehicles if you end up losing these things to the IRS simply because you did not find help paying your taxes.

Lawsuit Financial Stops Corporate Bullying

Lawsuit Financial has seen how physically, emotionally, and financially devastating it can be for families that have lost a loved one due to another’s recklessness and negligence.  While a wrongful death attorney helps these families understand their rights, seek justice, and recover financial compensation, the litigation process can take months, even years to reach a settlement.  During this time, the bills must still be paid.  Large corporations and insurance companies will try to deny, delay, defend, refuse, and confuse so they can force the plaintiff to settle for less that deserved.  Lawsuit Financial can stop the “bullying” with a non-recourse cash advance, known as lawsuit funding.

With the help of wrongful death lawsuit funding, plaintiffs are able to keep their case open and wait for a fair settlement; they won’t have to worry about being bullied by the defense. An application can be completed online or over the phone. If approved, the funding is typically used to pay the mortgage, rent, medical expenses, funeral expenses, and daily living expenses, or any bills to keep the plaintiff financially stable until a settlement is reached.

Wrongful death lawsuit funding is provided on a non-recourse basis, meaning that if the case fails, the plaintiff will not have to pay anything. We are only repaid if, and when, a successful recovery is made. Other benefits of lawsuit funding include:

  • No application fee
  • No monthly payments
  • No credit check
  • No employment requirements
  • No upfront costs or out-of-pocket expenses
If you have lost a loved one due to the negligence of someone else, there is no need to add additional stress to your life. Lawsuit Financial has helped many plaintiffs who have filed wrongful death claims, from auto accidents, to medical malpractice, to nursing home, to product negligence, and we may be able to help you too.  If you are in the middle of a wrongful death lawsuit, then lawsuit funding may be exactly what you need to help you and your family through these difficult times.

Lawsuits Consolidated for Discovery Purposes after Fatal Natural Gas Explosion

Determining liability in a gas explosion often requires extensive investigation. Depending upon where the fault lies, a number of parties could be held liable. Whether the result was from a defective product or someone’s negligence, liability could fall upon the manufacturer, the gas company, or an installer or maintenance company.  If you have been the victim of gas explosion resulting to the negligence or wrongdoing of another, you may seek compensation through a personal injury lawsuit. You may also qualify for pre-settlement litigation funding.
Three lawsuits linked to a fatal Topeka natural gas explosion in January 2012 have been temporarily merged for discovery purposes.  The suits were filed on behalf of Lucinia Tolliver’s estate and her daughter, Tolliver’s insurance carrier, Family Mutual Insurance, and Lois Jones, her next-door neighbor.  Defendants in all three suits are Kansas Gas Service and Glen Niehues, doing business as Wetmore-based N-Line Lawn Service. Tolliver died four days after the explosion leveled her home.  Jones was seriously injured in her own home.  According to her lawsuit, the blast knocked Ms. Jones off her feet, propelling her airborne “and thereby causing her serious, painful and permanent injuries to her head, back and entire body resulting in pain and suffering for which she underwent extensive medical care and treatment, at great cost and expense.”

The suits contend N-Line negligently broke a KGS pipeline while digging to install lawn sprinkler systems for residential use, and KGS breached its duty to protect the public from explosions resulting from its operation of underground facilities.  Last April, the Kansas Corporation Commission fined N-Line $5,000 and ordered Kansas Gas to develop an emergency response plan to deal with incidents in the future.

Anytime someone is seriously injured or loses a loved one, it is devastating both emotionally and mentally. Additionally, there is likely to be a financial hardship. On top of all that comes the financial and emotional roller coaster of a lawsuit. Many families will wait several years for a settlement to be reached. This long, hard battle to reach justice may place an additional financial burden on a victim’s family. But this is no reason to settle for too little, too soon.

In order to avoid financial hardship and wait for a fair settlement, Lawsuit Financial offers pre-settlement lawsuit funding, a cash advance designed to help the plaintiff pay medical expenses, funeral expenses, mortgage, and monthly bills that pile up. It is a way to make ends meet while awaiting a lawsuit settlement. Lawsuit funding  puts time in the hands of the plaintiff to await justice; to give plaintiffs the fighting chance against the deep-pocket corporations an insurance company. This type of funding is risk-free and clients often obtain money within 24 - 48 hours. Funding is completely contingent on the outcome of the lawsuit so there is not need for credit checks or employment verification.  Nothing is paid until the case successfully settles; if the lawsuit fails, the cash advance is completely excused. Contact Lawsuit Financial and see how we can help.

Horrific Auto Accident Sends Three Vehicles Ablaze; Fatigued Trucker to Blame

A truck driver on the road for nearly 38 hours, with only 3 ½ hours of sleep killed a tollway worker and seriously injured an Illinois State Trooper.

The tollway worker and trooper were assisting a disabled semi-truck on the side of the road when the negligent truck driver slammed into the police car.  The force of the collision pushed the squad car into the back of the tollway worker’s vehicle, which then struck the disabled truck.  The impact was so strong that all three vehicles went up in a fiery explosion.  According to witnesses, the trooper was on fire when he crawled out of his squad car.  He suffered third-degree burns to 15-percent of his body, broken ribs and shoulders, and bleeding of the brain; he is expected to recover. The tollway worker died at the scene; he leaves behind a wife and two children.  At the time of the accident, the trooper’s lights were flashing and an illuminated arrow on the back of the truck was lit to direct traffic away from the semi-truck.

The trucker faces four felony charges related to driving while fatigued and beyond his approved hours, and falsifying records and duty status. By law, semi-truck drivers are required to get 10 hours of sleep after 14 hours of driving. He was also charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and failure to yield to stationary emergency vehicles.  It turns out that the negligent driver has a record which includes convictions for speeding and improper backing on a one-way street. He also was involved in a collision resulting in property damage in March 2013.  So how does he get a commercial driver’s license?  According to the Secretary of State's office, because the crimes did not occur while he was driving a commercial vehicle, he was not prohibited by law from obtaining a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

The defense said it was an unfortunate and tragic accident.  Driving while fatigued is as bad a driving impaired or driving drunk; this accident did not have to happen.

The legal process is much different when it comes to semi-truck accidents mainly because the industry is so highly regulated. The cases are very complex and typically result in larger payouts; insurance companies have a vested interest in minimizing the liability in hopes to reduce payouts.  They deploy tactics in hopes to reduce the overall settlement. These tactics work especially when the plaintiff is having financial difficulties and the bills are piling up. The alternative to a settling for full case value is to obtain lawsuit funding.

When a financial setback arises due to the negligence of another, most victims do not realize they can apply for a lawsuit cash advance before their lawsuit settles. This is called lawsuit funding. It is not a loan because the money does not have to be paid back unless the case is won or settled. Lawsuit funding provides immediate cash to give a plaintiff and their attorney time to negotiate a fair settlement.  There are no upfront fees, no monthly payments, and no need for employment or a credit check. A lawsuit cash advance carries no risk because the plaintiff owes nothing if they lose the case.

If you have been seriously injured or lost a loved on in a semi-truck accident, Lawsuit Financial can help you get back on your feet and maintain financial stability. With our lawsuit cash advance program, a plaintiff and his/her attorney have a stronger negotiating position and the ability to receive the highest possible settlement. Our "lawsuit loans” are based on the strength and merits of your case; not your credit or work history. Once an application is completed and approved, the lawsuit cash advance can be available within 24 hours. We can provide you with the cash you need now, even if your case is still pending.  Call Lawsuit Financial and let us help ease your financial worries.

Lawsuit Funding Available When Insurance Company Fails to Honor Policy

Let's assume you are in an auto accident and the other driver is at fault. Let’s assume the driver is uninsured or underinsured.  Better yet, let’s assume it was a hit-and-run accident.  What can you do?  The first step is to file a claim with your own insurance company, assuming you wisely took advantage of uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. Uninsured motorist coverage (UM) can cover injury-related medical expenses and costs associated with repairing damage to your vehicle. If the driver who hit you was underinsured, the underinsured motorist coverage (UIM) on your policy can cover the difference between your bills and the driver's coverage up to the limits of your policy.  Simple, right?

Here are three cases where the truth is revealed.

Joseph A. Genovese of Louisiana filed a lawsuit against an unknown driver and American National Property and Casualty Company alleging that he was the victim of a hit-and-run auto accident.  Genovese claims that he was injured and his vehicle damaged when he was rear-ended by another driver who fled the scene.  Despite having coverage protecting him from uninsured drivers, Genovese said his insurance company, American National, refused to pay for repairs and injuries he sustained.

In Texas, two similar cases recently settled against Allstate Insurance.  In one case, a couple was rear-ended by another driver.  The impact caused their vehicle to strike the center median before coming to a stop in a ditch.  According to court records, the at-fault driver was insured, but his liability limits were inadequate to compensate for the damages.  The victims filed a claim with Allstate under their underinsured motorist policy, but Allstate refused to act in good faith and enter a fair settlement.  After taking the claim to trial, a jury awarded the couple over $33,000 more than Allstate’s settlement offer.

In the second Texas case, Allstate was the at-fault driver’s insurer, but again Allstate offered a less than favorable settlement.  According to court documents, the at-fault driver said the plaintiff swerved in front of his vehicle.  The jury found the at-fault driver negligent for inattentive driving and not maintaining a proper speed.  The settlement was twice that of Allstate’s initial offer.

These are prime examples of insurance companies putting their bottom line over their obligation to honor their contracts of insurance.  These innocent victims loyally paid their auto insurance premiums for years, yet when it came time to collect on the policy, the insurers acted in bad faith by denying, delaying, and defending the claims for no sustainable reason.  If this happens to you, all is not lost; you may be forced to file a lawsuit against your own insurance company.  Contact an experienced auto accident attorney who can help you maximize your recovery and hold the insurance company accountable. After all, you've spent years paying into a system so that when the day comes, you will receive the compensation deserved.

If you are the victim of an uninsured or underinsured negligent driver, but have uninsured coverage on your policy, you may qualify for lawsuit funding. Lawsuit Financial, the legal funding expert, offers a lawsuit cash advance to seriously injured victims who need cash now while their lawsuit is pending. All that is needed to qualify is to be represented by an attorney and have a viable case. There is no need for credit checks or employment verification. If approved, funds can be available within 24 – 48 hours. Our lawsuit funding is on a non-recourse basis, meaning if you lose your case, you owe us nothing. Furthermore, there are no out-of-pocket expenses or monthly payments. If you are having trouble covering expenses due to a hit-and-run auto accident, then consider auto accident lawsuit funding.

Choosing the Right Lawsuit Funding Company

No one expects to be the victim of an auto accident, defective product, slip and fall accident, or medical malpractice. When it happens, the results can be devastating physically, emotionally, and financially, as well. Filing a lawsuit is often the only means to seeking compensation for damages - medical expenses, lost wages, funeral and burial expenses, pain and suffering, and more. The problem is that the litigation process takes time, often years.  In the meantime, serious injuries or the loss of a sole breadwinner could mean the inability to stay financial afloat.

When it comes to needing financial assistance during a pending lawsuit, many plaintiffs will turn to lawsuit funding.  For some, this emergency cash can make the difference between keeping or losing their home, keeping the lights on, and putting food on the table.  It can also provide financial leverage needed to achieve a much higher settlement.  But, how do plaintiffs choose the right funding company among the growing number?
