Your Keys or Your Life; Make the Right Choice.

A University of Mount Union student knows all too well how one decision by a drunk driver can change a life forever.  Melinda was pinned inside her crushed vehicle and suffered two broken legs, a dislocated arm and a mild brain injury after a drunk driver slammed into her car.
“I had to learn how to stand up and I had to learn how to walk before I could leave the hospital... I had to fight to get out of bed, fight because someone took that away from me,” said Melinda.
Senseless tragedies involving alcohol remain too common.  While the dangers of driving under the influence are well-known, campaigns against drunk driving are endless, and states have imposed strict drunk driving laws, people continue to get behind the wheel while under the influence.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), many of these accidents happen during the holiday season.  “Every 54 minutes during the holiday season drunk driving claims a life,” said Anthony Fox, a U.S. Transportation Secretary.

Lawsuit Financial, a pro-justice litigation funding company, shares these tips to protect you and others this holiday season.
  1. If you drink, don't drive no matter how little you may have had.
  2. Don't let someone you know get behind the wheel if they've been drinking.
  3. Avoid driving between during early and late evening hours on holidays.
  4. Be cautious and watch for the erratic movements of other drivers.
  5. Immediately report suspected drunk drivers to the police.
We urge everyone to do their part to keep motorists safe.  Be responsible; don’t drink and drive.  You can hand over your keys or your life. Make the right choice.

Unfortunately, even the most responsible drivers get in accidents. If the accident was due to the negligence of another driver, victims may be able to seek compensation.  After filing a lawsuit, the plaintiff may also be eligible for pre-settlement funding, a lawsuit cash advance typically used to pay the essentials – medical bills, funeral and burial expenses, mortgage, and daily household bills such as groceries.  There are no credit checks or employment verifications necessary; the only requirement to obtain funding is a case with merit.  Best of all, nothing is owed to the funding company until the case successfully settles.  If the plaintiff loses, the cash advance is completely waived.  With pre-settlement lawsuit funding, you can maintain your finances so you won’t have to settle for less than you deserve.  Complete our free, online application or call our office today to learn more.

DTRT: Put Down the Phone and Drive

Four years ago, Ashley’s life changed forever in one split second.  The reason? She was texting while driving.  Today, Ashley is partially paralyzed.

Ashley got ready for work, but did not see her husband before she left.  Wanting to tell him she loved him and to have a good day, so she pulled out her phone to send him a text.  When Ashley drifted over the center line into oncoming traffic, she overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle.  It flipped and she was thrown into the air; Ashley was not wearing a seatbelt.  When she came to, Ashley knew immediately that she was paralyzed.

Ashley suffered a broken neck; she could not stand or sit up; she could not bathe or dress herself.  Every day since has been a struggle; the hardest part for this now-divorced mom is not being able to be the mom she once was to her daughter.  Ashley’s daughter will say things like, “I like to go play with your friends, because they have legs, and they can do things,” or “'Momma, I will wait. I'll wait until you walk, I'll be patient.”

That is a powerful message from a child.  DTRT (Do The Right Thing); stop texting and driving; it’s not worth it.

Lawsuit Financial is a pro-justice lawsuit funding company that strongly supports a national ban on texting while driving.  Owner and founder, Mark Bello has thirty-six years experience as a trial lawyer and fourteen years as an underwriter and situational analyst in the lawsuit funding industry. A No-Risk “Loan” for Plaintiffs Facing Financial Hardship

A personal injury plaintiff struggling to pay the bills while waiting for his/her lawsuit to wind through the courts is nothing new. Even when a case successfully settles, a plaintiff may continue to wait for compensation, especially during an appeal process.  “We understands this situation and provides non-recourse cash advances to help plaintiffs survive these difficult financial times,” said Mark Bello, owner and founder of Lawsuit Financial.

Strategic and timely placed cash advances, known as lawsuit funding, may be the only way for plaintiffs to stay financially afloat and resist the pressure to settle too soon, for less than case value.  Funding can be used at the plaintiff’s discretion, but is typically used to pay the mortgage, rent, tuition, medical bills, and daily household expenses.  There is no employment verification or credit history required; funding is based on the projected future settlement or award.

“All that is required for Lawsuit Financial to review a case for funding is that the plaintiff has filed a lawsuit through and experienced attorney and completed our one-page application. Once we receive the plaintiff’s application and case documentation from his/her attorney, our investors will determine if the case has merit,” said Mr. Bello.  If approved, Lawsuit Financial will prepare a contract and funds can be available within 24 – 48 hours.  It is important to note that our funding is provided on a non-recourse basis, meaning that if the plaintiff loses the case, she/he owes us nothing,” stated Bello.

What You Don’t Want to Include in Your Holiday Budget

With Thanksgiving falling later than usual this year, there are fewer days to shop for Christmas, and that could result in more traffic congestion on our roadways in the final weeks leading up to Christmas.  This is because frantic shoppers are hurrying to make those final purchases.
Last-minute shopping, coupled with the pressure of locating the right item at the store with the lowest price, leads to stress.  When people are stressed, they tend to drive more aggressively.

The holidays are also a time for family gatherings and holiday parties, most of which include food and drinks; for some, too many drinks.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, drunk driving accidents account for 31 percent of all motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, thousands of drivers and passengers lose their lives each year because of drunk driving.

Most people would never imagine that their holiday celebration could result in serious injuries or death, but the risks associated with distracted driving or driving while impaired are very real.  Unless you want to spend a lot more than you budgeted for this holiday season, drive responsibly.  Slow down, put down the phone, and focus on the road.  You can also avoid an accident by being mindful of your surroundings and other drivers.  Many accidents have been avoided by anticipating other drivers’ moves.  Taking all possible precautions will help increase your chances of safe traveling.  If each of us does our part to increase safety on our roadways, just maybe we will see less serious and fatal auto accidents this holiday season.

Mark Bello has thirty-six years experience as a trial lawyer and fourteen years as an underwriter and situational analyst in the lawsuit funding industry. He is the owner and founder of Lawsuit Financial Corporation which helps provide cash flow solutions and consulting when necessities of life litigation funding is needed by a plaintiff involved in pending, personal injury, litigation. Lawsuit Financial is Standing By to Help Auto Accident Victims This Holiday Season

Lawsuit Financial is pleased to offer a means for cash-strapped plaintiffs to avoid debt and credit risk this holiday season.
When auto accident victims are already struggling to pay medical expenses, mortgage or rent payments, or simply buying groceries and putting food on the table, they may find it hard to even think about holiday expenses.  Plaintiffs in need of fast cash this holiday season may be eligible for lawsuit funding.

When an innocent victim is in the middle of a lawsuit, sometimes cash can be tight especially with additional bills and medical expenses combined with the loss if income. Often times, this is because insurance companies will prolong the process by denying, delaying, defending to avoid paying fair compensation in the hope that the plaintiff will be forced to settle for far less than they would receive from a jury verdict. Unless the plaintiff has savings to fall back on, he/she may need financial assistance to survive the holidays.

Lawsuit Financial, a pro-justice litigation funding company, is a leader in the lawsuit funding industry. We believe being forced to settle for less compensation because you are in a financial bind is not seeking justice.  If you are not in the financial position to enjoy the holidays, lawsuit funding could be a viable option and it can make a difference in your financial staying power.

Lawsuit funding is a cash advance based solely on the strength of your case; credit history and employment do not matter and there are no monthly payments. Because of this, a plaintiff may qualify for lawsuit funding even though he/she would never qualify for a bank loan or line of credit. Unlike a bank loan, the application process is easy, and once approved, money can be available within 24-48 hours. Another advantage to lawsuit funding is that the plaintiff does not need to report a lawsuit cash advance therefore it will never show up on a credit report.  There are no upfront fees or monthly payments with Lawsuit Financial and we offer a quick turnaround time; 24 – 48 hours.

So, don’t let the holidays add more stress during an already difficult time. To learn more about a lawsuit cash advance from Lawsuit Financial, call or visit us online for a free, no-obligation consultation.

It Has A Name; It’s Called Auto Accident Lawsuit Funding

Tragedy can happen in a split second; lives changed forever due to careless or reckless driving.  Each person who dies in an auto accident is not just a number; that victim has a name, and family and/or friends that will be affected forever.

During the holiday season, more people are on out roadways due to traveling, holiday shopping, and family gatherings.  With this increase comes the increase risk of auto accidents.  The most contributing factors are fatigue, driving under the influence, speeding, tailgating, distractions, and wintry weather conditions.

Auto accidents are not limited to the roadways especially at this time of year.  Parking lots are the scene of back-over accidents, pedestrian accidents, and slip and falls.  To avoid serious injuries or a fatality prevention is the key.  That does not mean staying at home.  A few simple reminders will help you and your loved ones from becoming a statistic:

  • Always wear your seat belt; don’t put the vehicle in drive until all passengers buckle up.
  • Drive defensively in order to react to sudden changes in traffic conditions.
  • Don’t follow too closely.  Leave plenty of room for stopping.
  • Stay alert and avoid driving while fatigued.
  • Don’t drink and drive.
  • Don’t text and drive.
  • Watch your speed.  Plan ahead and allow ample time to safely reach your destination.
  • Be extra cautious in inclement weather, including rain, fog, snow, and black ice.
If you are an unfortunate victim of an auto accident, you may be able to seek compensation for damages.  Consult an experienced auto accident attorney to understand your rights.  If you are currently involved in a lawsuit, been out of work, have fallen behind on the mortgage, car payments, medical expenses and other bills, and can’t wait to receive compensation from your lawsuit, consider auto accident lawsuit funding.

Although some people may call it a “lawsuit loan”, lawsuit funding is a non-recourse cash advance against a pending lawsuit. Unlike a bank loan in which you are required to pay back the loan regardless of the outcome, a plaintiff only pays back the lawsuit cash advance if, and when, s/he successfully settles. If the verdict is in favor of the defendant, the plaintiff is not obligated to repay the lawsuit cash advance.

When a plaintiff is in need of auto accident lawsuit funding, the name is important.  LawsuitFinancial is a leading expert in the legal funding industry.  We offer a free, no obligation consultation, free application process, no monthly payments, no credit checks, and no employment verification.  Qualification is based solely on the merits of the case and approvals take 24 - 48 hours.  If you are undergoing serious financial challenges while waiting for your auto accident lawsuit settlement, you can apply immediately by phone, toll-free at 877-377-7848 or by visiting LawsuitFinancial online.  We are ready to help get you fast cash to alleviate financial distress this holiday season.

Januvia and Byetta Wrongful Death Lawsuits Continue

Januvia and Byetta, medication used to treat type 2 diabetes remain on the market despite claims that it has led to numerous patients suffering pancreatic cancer and an untimely death.

Since March 2013, numerous wrongful death lawsuits have been filed claiming patients developed pancreatic cancer, and ultimately died, after using Januvia and Byetta.  The lawsuits allege that Merck & Co. and Eli Lilly knew of the link between its drug and an increased risk for pancreatic cancer, but withheld that knowledge so that the medications could be approved by the FDA. It further alleges that Merck failed to test the drug properly or to conduct appropriate post-marketing research.  Additional claims allege that the drug makers failed to warn doctors and patients the drug could cause pancreatic cancer.

Reaching a verdict or settlement in these cases can take a long time, most probably years.  Insurance companies typically prolong a lawsuit to force the plaintiff into settling for less than they deserve.  Although a cash-strapped plaintiff may be tempted to settle in order to meet financial needs, there is another option.

For families suffering with medical bills, funeral and burial expenses, and daily household expenses especially when there has been a loss of income, lawsuit funding can help bridge the gap until their case settles. At Lawsuit Financial, we work fast to review and approve funding applications, and can wire money into the applicant’s account within 24 – 48 hours.  There are no applications fees, monthly payments, credit checks or employment verifications when applying for lawsuit funding.  Approval is based solely on the merits of the case.  Additionally, there are no restrictions on how the cash advance is used and repayment is contingent on the outcome of the case.  If the plaintiff loses, the lawsuit cash advance is completely waived.

If you or someone you love has been affected by Januvia or Byetta, you may have a right to bring a product liability or wrongful death lawsuit. To learn more about your legal rights, contact a personal injury or wrongful death attorney.  Lawsuit Financial's 50-state professional referral service can assist you in finding a lawyer who specializes in this area of the law. If you have an attorney, are currently pursuing a lawsuit, and need financial assistance during the litigation process, contact Lawsuit Financial to learn more strategic and appropriate lawsuit funding.

Lawsuit Funding: Helping People Who Need It, When They Need It Most

Pursuing a lawsuit can put a strain on your finances.  People who have been severely injured in an auto accident due to the negligence of someone else can be financially devastated. The injured may be out of work for weeks or months, leaving them with no income. Often times these victim lacks the adequate credit history to qualify for a traditional loan. Even if bank loan could be obtained, how would the victim make monthly payments without income?

Most plaintiffs do not realize they can obtain lawsuit funding, a cash advance against a pending claim to help cash-strapped plaintiffs meet living expenses, pay for medical care and cover other daily needs. When a plaintiff doesn't have financial pressures, he/she is able pursue justice without being forced to accept a less than fair settlement offer from the insurance company.  Without financial worries, a plaintiff can focus on recovering from his/her injuries while awaiting a trial verdict or settlement.

Lawsuit funding is not a "lawsuit loan". The funding company invests in the future settlement proceeds of a lawsuit, contingent upon the future outcome of the case. Funding is provided on a non-recourse basis meaning the cash advance carries not risk; if the plaintiff loses the case, he/she owes nothing.

If your personal funds are running out, and your case has not settled, you may want to consider lawsuit funding to bridge the gap from your accident date to the settlement date.  A lawsuit cash advance from Lawsuit Financial is readily available for all kinds of personal injury and wrongful death cases.  To apply, complete an application online or via phone.  We will evaluate your case, and if approved funds can be available within 24 - 48 hours.  There is no application fee, credit check or employment verification required.

Lawsuit Claims “Headfirst” Technique Encouraged by Coach Left Teen a Quadriplegic

A lawsuit has been filed against Pop Warner, a non-profit organization that provides youth football, cheerleading, and dance programs, after a 13-year-old athlete became paralyzed during a football game.  The lawsuit states the teen sustained a “catastrophic spinal cord injury” and that he has minimal use of his arms and no movement from the chest down after he tackled a player using a headfirst technique encouraged by coaches, despite the organizations rules to the contrary.  The teen’s mother said her son is confined to a bed and wheelchair.  He suffers from pressure sores and has to use a colostomy bag and catheter.  The lawsuit seeks unspecified punitive damages for negligence, negligent training of coaches and negligent supervision.  Medical bills have exceeded $2 million and insurance covers approximately 80%, leaving the teen’s mother on the hook for hundreds of thousands of dollars. She wonders how she will pay, but also what happens once her son becomes an adult.

This case is real and the tragedy that occurred was preventable and avoidable if only rules were followed.  This young man’s life has obviously been turned upside down. He may never be able to achieve the education he should or fulfill career and life-long dreams he once had; all this potentially due to the negligence of his football coach.

While waiting for the case to wind its way through the legal system, pre-settlement funding may be available to help cover medical and care expenses, urgent financial issues and other necessities of life funding. Applying for legal funding is often the perfect solution for plaintiffs who are in financial need as a result of serious injuries caused by no fault of their own. Once the lawsuit cash advance is approved, funds can be available in less than 48 hours.  There are no upfront fees, no monthly payments, and no credit checks.  Best of all, repayment is made once the plaintiff successfully settles, but if the case is unsuccessfully, the cash advance is completely waived.

Pre-settlement funding is a risk-free option for any plaintiff struggling financially.  Call today for a free, no-obligation consultation or apply online.

Legal Funding Services Benefited Victim of Drunk Driving Accident

I was injured in an auto accident because of a drunk driver.  The accident left me disabled longer than expected so I lost my job.  I filed a personal injury lawsuit, but it was not settling fast enough to cover all my medical bills.  There was no way I was accepting the ridiculous offer from the insurance company, but my family did not have the means to help me financially.  Fortunately, Lawsuit Financial did.

I applied online for lawsuit funding and was contacted within the hour.  I was new to this so Sandy thoroughly explained how the process.  She promised that once some case documentation from my attorney was reviewed, if I was approved for funding that I could expect the cash advance within 24 hours.  Sandy kept her promise and I paid my outstanding bills.  My case also settled for $1.1 million (the insurance company’s offer was $500,000).

I would not have received the settlement I deserved if not for the help of Lawsuit Financial.  I highly recommend the services of Lawsuit Financial to anyone in need of a cash advance on their lawsuit.

  • Have you been injured in an accident that was not your fault?
  • Have you missed a substantial amount of work due to injuries?
  • Have you retain an attorney and filed a personal injury lawsuit?
  • Do you need emergency cash to withstand the legal process?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, you are entitled to pursue damages for your injuries and/or loss; however, justice does not always come swiftly or inexpensively.  Developing financial problems after a serious injury adds serious insult upon devastating injury.  Where do you turn to for help?

First, you may turn to a family member or friend, but slow or no repayment will affect that important relationship for years to come.  You can ask a bank, but unless you have substantial collateral for a loan and are willing to put that collateral (house, car, jewelry) at risk if you lose the case, you may be risking everything.  What do you do?  Where do you go?

Lawsuit Funding may be the answer.  You can acquire a no-risk, lawsuit cash advance against the anticipated recovery in your lawsuit, without risking your home, car or other valuable asset.  This cash advance is known as lawsuit funding or litigation funding; some will incorrectly label it as a “lawsuit loan.”  The reason this type of funding is not a loan is because there are no credit checks, application fees, or monthly payments.  Additionally, there is no commitment to repay the advance unless the case successfully settles.  In other words, if the lawsuit is unsuccessful, you don't owe Lawsuit Financial a dime.  The obligation is completely excused.

How do you get started once you have retained an attorney?  Complete our online application or call one of our legal representatives.  We will handle the rest – calling your attorney for case documentation, reviewing your case, and determining qualification. If you are approved for lawsuit funding, we will prepare a contract for you and your attorney to sign. Once the contract is executed, we will wire the funds directly into your account.  How long does the whole process take? It could be in as little as 24 hours.  What are you waiting for? Apply today and start paying those bills tomorrow.

Excessive Speeding Results in Fatal Auto Accident

Speeding accidents are one of the most common types of roadway accidents in America. They result in catastrophic injuries and fatalities every day.  If you or a loved one has been involved in a speeding accident due to another person's recklessness, you can seek compensation for damages. Unfortunately, waiting for compensation from a settlement, can be financially devastating.  Litigation funding may be the only option to avoid settling for less than full case value.

A 19-year-old woman died when the vehicle in which she was riding slammed into a pole after the driver lost control of the vehicle.  According to police, the 22-year-old driver and the driver of a Ford F150 were traveling at a high rate of speed towards a curve in the road when both drivers lost control.  The Acura spun, sliding onto the median and hitting a light pole on the passenger side where the 19-year-old was sitting. The F150 spun into the median, but missed the pole.  The driver of the Acura is in critical condition; the 17-year-old driver of the truck suffered minor injuries and has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and reckless driving.  The accident remains under investigation.

Irrelevant of the cause(s) of this fatal auto accident, it is difficult to hear about the loss of a loved one.  During this time, the last thing the family of the deceased needs to deal with is legal and financial issues, but is important to contact an experienced auto accident attorney to understand their rights.  If an attorney takes the case and files a lawsuit, it could take years for the suit to reach a settlement. During this time, if the family is burdened by mounting bills, they may want to apply for litigation funding.  This immediate funding source allows a plaintiff to take care of their financial obligations while giving their attorney the time needed to seek appropriate justice.

Lawsuit Financial is a leading expert in the legal funding industry.  We offer a free, no obligation consultation, free application process, no monthly payments, no credit checks, and no employment verification.  Additionally, our “lawsuit loans” are no risk.  Repayment is only made once our client successfully settles their case, so if the client loses, we completely waive any monies due.  Qualification is based solely on the merits of the case and approvals take 24 - 48 hours.

If you have undergoing serious financial challenges while waiting for your auto accident lawsuit settlement, begin by applying online with Lawsuit Financial, or call us to learn more.

Victims Have the Power to Seek Justice with Pre-Settlement Lawsuit Funding

A Kansas woman was apparently electrocuted after a single-vehicle auto accident.  When the 26-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle, the car struck a utility pole.  Witnesses said when the woman got out of the vehicle, a power line came down; they saw arching and heard explosions.  She was unresponsive at the scene and pronounced dead at a local hospital.  Her two young children in the backseat were unharmed.  An investigation is ongoing to determine what may have caused the woman to lose control and the vehicle to leave the road.
Was the driver distracted? Was there a mechanical failure or defect? While all the details of this fatal auto accident won’t be known until the investigation is complete, witnesses said that the despite this being the first fatality in the area, it is not the first time the pole has been struck by drivers. They believe the intersection is dangerous because of the way the road splits; if a driver misjudges the curve, they could very well hit the pole.  Residents are pushing to move the pole back a few feet.
Safety officials say people should always assume the lines are hot and dangerous so it is best to stay in the vehicle and wait for help.  Getting out might allow the electricity to ground from the car through you. If you see someone in a vehicle with downed power lines on it, do not touch the car or try to rescue the person inside as you could be electrocuted.  If you must get out of the vehicle, jump or hop away to avoid touching the vehicle and the ground at the same time, and keep feet together.  Never attempt to move the lines or touch anything that is touching the line.

Although the driver may have been driving carelessly, failure to avoid foreseeable events from turning tragic is a form of negligence.  When a roadway is poorly designed or road signs, poles, and barriers poorly placed, it can cause or contribute to an auto accident and require an extensive investigation of the roadway and its history. This is especially critical when the roadway has been the site of previous accidents.

No matter how this investigation concludes, the family should seek legal advice from an experienced attorney as soon as possible. They may be able to receive compensation for the wrongful death of their loved one and claim damages for pain and suffering, lost wages, medical bills, and other damages. A wrongful death attorney will help determine if a government entity was responsible for failing to fulfill its obligations of making sure the road is somewhat forgiving of driver error, if the automobile manufacturer was responsible for a defective part that caused the woman to lose control, and/or if the accident was due to drive negligence. Nonetheless, it will be a long legal process and difficult to prove, but with the help of an experienced auto accident attorney, the victims’ family can fight for justice and compensation for their loss.  During this time, the family may be unable to pay funeral and burial expenses, and the costly needs of the deceased two small children.  A financially desperate plaintiff is not in a favorable position regarding settlement negotiations; this person will often settle for too little, too soon. One option to surviving financially while waiting for a settlement is lawsuit funding.

There are no costs or fees associated with a funding application. If approved, funds would arrive within 24 – 48 hours by check or wire.  There are no monthly payments, credit checks, or employment verification, and repayment is contingent upon the outcome of the case.  If the plaintiff loses, the lawsuit cash advance is waived in its entirety.

When Lawsuit Financial is able to provide the freedom to wait for the highest possible settlement there is not need to accept less than full case value. Applying for lawsuit funding can be done online or by calling one of our funding specialists who will happily explain the funding process and review the details of your case to determine your eligibility.

Litigation Funding May Help Victim Suing Bar and Grill in Drunk Driving Accident

Someone’s life can be seriously impacted by the reckless actions and negligence of another, and businesses that served alcohol to a visibly intoxicated person can be held accountable. An experienced attorney can help victims recover compensation for damages, including pain and suffering.
A man filed a personal injury lawsuit against a Bar and Grill alleging negligence for allowing employees to serve a woman alcohol beyond the point of visible intoxication before she got behind the wheel of her vehicle and caused a serious accident.  The victim suffered serious injuries to his head, neck, shoulder, and back.  He is suing for an undetermined amount of compensation.
What happens if the legal process takes longer than this plaintiff can financially afford?  There is immediate financial assistance, sometimes referred to as a “lawsuit loan”, that may be available.  This legal funding service correctly called “litigation funding” or “lawsuit funding” would allow this victim wait for a fair and equitable settlement.  If he is desperately need money now, the only other alternative may be to settle his valuable case for pennies on the dollar to pay his bills.  If he applies for funding through Lawsuit Financial, we will act quickly to review his case, and if approved, provide funds within 24 – 48 hours.  We charge no upfront or monthly fees, and there is not need for credit checks or employment verification.  Once he is in a financially stable position, this victim can focus on recovering physically and emotionally.  Best of all, he owes us nothing until his case settles at which time repayment is made from the proceeds of the settlement.  If he loses, nothing is repaid; he keeps the cash advance.

If you or a loved one was seriously injured in an auto accident caused by a drunk driver, you have important legal rights, and may be entitled to compensation for your medical bills, lost wages, and property damage. Contact an experienced attorney as soon as possible; then call Lawsuit Financial for a no-risk lawsuit cash advance.

When A Dog Just Won’t Let Go The Consequences Can Be Serious or Fatal

Pit bulls are known to be friendly and docile one minute, only to violently attack the next. Here are just two examples of how quickly these pets can turn on someone.

Receiving a call of a domestic dispute at an apartment complex, police discovered a pit bull had mauled its owner and the owner’s mother. Apparently the young man and his elderly mother were engaged in an argument that prompted the man’s pit bull to attack the woman. When the man tried to pry the dog from his mother, the pit bull turned on him. Police arrived after receiving a domestic dispute call and found the dog was on top of the man, biting him. Believing the only way to stop the attack, police shot and kill the pit bull. The elderly woman was taken to the hospital with bite wounds on her arm; her son was treated with more severe injuries.

A four-year-old girl is recovering after she was recently attacked by a pit bull in a Santa Monica home. The little girl, her mother, and her mother’s friend who was dog sitting returned from taking the pit bull for a walk. After the dog sitter removed the pit bull’s muzzle, the animal appeared to sniff the child before it lunged at her leg. The dog sitter broke two fingers during the attack.

Many people don’t realize that dog bite and dog attack cases may be pursued under the dog owner’s homeowners’ insurance coverage as a personal injury case. If you have been seriously injured from a dog bite or attack, it is important to consult a personal injury attorney who can help protect your rights. A victim can recover compensation for medical expenses, future medical care, disfigurement, loss of income, emotional trauma, and pain and suffering.

There is no doubt that a personal injury lawsuit, if filed in either of these cases, will take a while to resolve. If the victims are facing financial difficulties during this time, lawsuit funding may be a solution.

Strategic lawsuit funding can help pay ongoing medical bills and other important expenses, while recovering
physically and emotionally and waiting for a fair settlement. Such funding is intended to remove the financial pressure to resolve a serious personal injury lawsuit too soon, for too little due to pressing financial need. Lawsuit funding is provided on a non-recourse basis meaning the plaintiff repays the lawsuit cash advance upon settlement, but if the plaintiff loses, s/he is not required to repay the advanced funds. To obtain lawsuit funding, all that is required is legal representation and a case with merit. The application process takes less than five minutes, and once a case is approved the funds can be wired into the plaintiff’s bank account within 24 – 48 hours. It is really that simple, so don’t delay; call today!

Lawsuit Financial Carries the Financial Burden during Your Personal Injury Lawsuit

When you have been injured as a result of someone else’s negligence, the last thing you want is to worry about how you will pay the bills, especially if you are unable to work. Even if a settlement is forthcoming, the legal process will typically take longer than a financially-strapped plaintiff can withstand.  If you are struggling financially, and can’t wait months, or quite possibly years, to obtain a settlement, you may be an ideal candidate for lawsuit funding.

If you are a plaintiff faced with financial pressures and feeling motivated to accept a settlement offer well below what you deserve, consider lawsuit funding first.  This type of funding is not a loan, but a cash advance until your case settles.  The best part is that lawsuit funding is risk-free.  Repayment is only made once the case successfully settles; there is no obligation to repay if the case is lost.

“I desperately needed money to avoid eviction and pay some bills while waiting for my auto accident lawsuit to settle.  I called several banks, but they would not help since I was unemployed.  My attorney suggested lawsuit funding. Again, I made several calls.  Lawsuit Financial was willing to help and seemed like the best option.  They gave me $2,500, but three months later, I lost my case.  I was not only devastated from losing my case, but I had paid-off my bills with the money from Lawsuit Financial and had no way to pay them back.  When I called Lawsuit Financial, to explain my latest situation, Sandy told me I was not obligated to pay them back as stated in my contract.  Due to all the stress, I had completely forgotten that one reason I chose Lawsuit Financial was their payback policy.  I am sure glad I did I chose Lawsuit Financial.”  C.J.

Is your personal injury lawsuit taking too long to settle?  Are your bills piling up and you need help? Lawsuit Financial may be able to provide a cash advance to help you survive financially and avoid debt.  Our application process takes less than five minutes.  Once received, we will contact your attorney for pertinent case documentation.  Approval typically takes between 24 – 48 hours after receiving all documentation to review a case.  There are no application fees, monthly payments, or credit checks; we base funding solely on the merits of your case.

Auto Accident Lawsuit Funding Covers Victims of Moped and Scooter Claims

While scooters and mopeds provide enjoyment, as well as a means to conveniently and inexpensively get around town, when accidents occur they can be catastrophic.  These accidents may occur if another driver is distracted or does not see the moped for other reasons such as their size.  If you are injured or lost a loved one in a moped or auto accident and need lawsuit financing until your case settles, Lawsuit Financial may have the perfect.

Two passengers on a moped were killed; the driver seriously injured when the driver of a 2010 Hyundai Accent slammed into the back of the bike before fleeing the scene.  All three teens on the bike were thrown onto the road.  A female passenger was hit by another vehicle after falling into an adjacent lane.

After identifying the hit-and-run driver, police learned she was driving on a suspended license and her driving record is marred with a list of infractions including careless driving and "driving too fast for conditions." Her license was suspended last month because she failed to obtain auto liability insurance, which had not been reinstated at the time of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation, but investigators don’t believe alcohol was a factor.  The negligent driver claims she did not see the moped.  Was she distracted, driving too fast, or negligent in another way?  Nothing is for certain until the investigation is complete.

The injured victim and the families of those who died may want to seek the advice of an experienced attorney to understand their rights.  If a lawsuit is filed, and the plaintiffs are struggling to pay the medical bills and funeral and burial expenses, a lawsuit cash advance, known as lawsuit funding may be helpful.

Lawsuit funding is a mechanism through which a plaintiff can receive emergency cash when they may not have the funds to wait months, or years, to reach a settlement.  Because funding is approved on case merit alone, there is no need for credit checks and the funding applicant does not need to be employed.  Lawsuit funding is provided on a non-recourse basis meaning the cash advance carries no risk; if the plaintiff loses the case, he/she owes nothing.

At Lawsuit Financial, we strive to streamline the funding process making it faster and easier for plaintiffs to get the money they need.   The application process takes less than five minutes.  Once our investors review a case and determine the likelihood of a favorable settlement, we can wire funds directly to our client’s account within 24 – 48 hours.  Lawsuit Financial is a leading provider of non-recourse funding solutions, so whether you are searching for pre-settlement funding against a pending claim, or post-settlement funding against a settled case, we can work for you.

Insurance Company Obstacles to Avoid Paying Claims

The case is Safeway Insurance Co. v. Hanks involved a man who was pursuing an uninsured motorist claim with his insurance company after a hit-and-run accident. Mr. Hanks claimed injuries to his head, neck, back, and leg as a result of the auto accident. A jury found in favor of the plaintiff and awarded him $13,000. Safeway appealed, alleging that the trial court erred in allowing testimony from the man’s expert. The insurance company argued that Hanks needed a medical expert to testify that the accident caused him to suffer a herniated disk in his lower back.

Although there was evidence that the man was in a prior auto accident in which he suffered similar injuries, the radiologist testified that that a significant portion of the herniated disk had cured. The evidence was sufficient to support a jury instruction on the preexisting condition, and the trial court did not err in so instructing the jury.

The Georgia Court of Appeals rejected Safeway’s argument saying that such an injury did not raise a “medical question” that required an expert’s testimony to establish causation, and it was up to the jury to determine whether if there was a connection between the accident and injuries. For example, back injuries resulting from a rear-end auto accident do not raise “medical questions” that require expert testimony on causation. The decision reinforced the principle that juries should decide issues within their common knowledge as long as some evidence has been introduced to support a claim.

If the insurance company has denied your insurance benefits after an auto accident, or if you are getting the run-around from your insurance adjuster, you should seek an experienced auto accident attorney. Suffering a personal injury from an auto accident is bad enough, but when the insurance company refuses to negotiate or settle your claim in good faith for the sole purpose of protecting its own profits, the impact to you can be devastating. Don’t be bullied by insurance company tactics. Justice will not be served; you will not receive what you deserve. Apply for lawsuit funding from Lawsuit Financial. A well-placed non-recourse lawsuit cash advance can often ease the financial pressure until your case settles. Can I Get a “Loan” During My Lawsuit?

We received a call from an injured victim asking “Will you fund my lawsuit?”  John went on to say that he was seriously injured in an auto accident and had been unable to work for months.  He filed a lawsuit, but has received no compensation to date; his attorney said it could be several more months before a settlement could be reached.  John had back surgery and will need extensive rehabilitation and physical surgery.  He constantly suffers from acute migraine headaches.  The doctors are not sure if John will ever be able to return to work full-time.  He contacted our office because the bills keep piling up and he is on the verge of losing his home.
In many cases, help is a phone call away. It's stressful enough when you or a family member is seriously injured without having to worry about losing everything. When things are financially at their worse during a personal injury lawsuit, many people turn to us for lawsuit funding.

Lawsuit funding is ideal for people who need help paying the bills while waiting for their settlement.  It works by borrowing money from a lawsuit funding company, such as Lawsuit Financial and promising to pay back the “loan” when you receive your settlement.  The cash advance can be used for anything, but is typically meant to pay medical bills and cover living expenses while the case is being fought.  Lawsuit Financial never charges up-front fees and we don’t require monthly payments.  Our funding is also risk-free. If you lose your case, you pay absolutely nothing. Additionally, there are no credit checks and applicants need not be employed.  The only qualifying factor to received lawsuit funding is a case with merit.  This is why a lawsuit cash advance is a smart alternative. In addition, a lawsuit funding will allow plaintiffs to wait for a just settlement, meaning they don’t have to settle early and perhaps get less than they would from the court.

Simply complete our online application or call our office; we will do the rest.  If your lawsuit funding request is approved, we will provide the money you need, easily and quickly; typically within 48 hours.  We are dedicated to getting you the money you need when you need it the most.

Plaintiff Perseverance Leads to Just Compensation

Let’s assume you suffered serious injuries in an auto accident due to the negligence of someone else.  You have filed a suit against the negligent driver to compensate you for your losses and the negligent driver’s insurance company has offered you a settlement.  Should you take it? The answer depends on the circumstances of your case.  An experienced auto accidentattorney is the best to help you understand your rights and your chances of prevailing at trial, but it is true that jury-awarded compensation may be higher than an insurance company settlement offer. Here is an example.

A woman filed an auto accident lawsuit alleging her serious injuries were the result of a driver distracted with a text message.  The insurance company offered to settle the case for $300,000 despite the plaintiff’s attorney seeking $500,000 based on medical expenses, loss of wages, and need for future surgery and medical treatment. The plaintiff preserved and fought for full and fair compensation. In the end, the jury reached a verdict of $680,000 plus costs and interest, including all past medical expenses, $77,000 in past wage loss and $316,000 in future damages, for an approximate settlement of $930,000.

While a jury award will usually result in a much higher settlement, taking an auto accident injury claim to court is a lengthy process that could take months, even years.  During this time, plaintiffs often find themselves struggling to pay the additional expenses associated with their case.  If unable to work, even the daily bills may be hard to pay.  Sometimes, a plaintiff will be successful at trial and still not receive just compensation if the defendant appeals.

During a lengthy and stressful litigation process, don’t be intimidated by the defendant to settle for less than you deserve. Pre-settlement funding is a non-recourse cash advance to help plaintiffs wait out the long, legal process for settlement or verdict justice, without having to settle too soon for too little because the insurance company has all the time, leverage and money, and use these tools to its advantage.  The cash advance is often the answer to handling unexpected medical bills and ordinary living expenses, all while trying to pick of the pieces of their shattered lives. Repayment is contingent on the outcome of the lawsuit, meaning if the plaintiff loses their case, they would not be obligated to pay back the cash advance.

If you were seriously injured in an auto accident and need financial assistance to help pay the bills while waiting for your case to settle, pre-settlement funding may be the answer. There is no cost to apply, no monthly payments to make, and no upfront fees of any kind. After completing an online application, your case will be evaluated and if approved, funds can be wired into your account within 24-48 hours. Why struggle any longer?  If you are a plaintiff who needs immediate access to money, consider pre-settlement funding from an experienced provider rather than settling below jury award.
