Michigan Man Dies After 11-Pound Rock Flies Through His Windshield

A 48-year-old Grand Rapids man was hit in the head by an 11-pound rock through his windshield on October 17. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and died 12 days later. According to police, the rock fell off a dump trailer being hauled by a semi-truck. The man was knocked unconscious and crashed into a power pole, snapping it in half, and then some bushes.
