A 59-year-old woman was killed in a
hit-and-run accident less than a block from her Chicago home. Police said her
Toyota station wagon was T-boned by a silver Mustang; the woman had to be cut
from her vehicle. Police are searching for two men who fled the scene.
Witnesses said the men were wearing high-visibility work shirts or vests. The accident
remains under investigation.
Hit-and-run accidents that cause serious
injuries or death are usually prosecuted as felonies. If the hit-and-run driver
is not found or does not have insurance, hopefully the victim has uninsured
/underinsured coverage. If a lawsuit filed, it will likely be a long case in
the winning and the victim’s family may struggle financially during this time.
The good news: no longer must victims wait endlessly for their lawsuits to
settle or get to trial.
Lawsuit
Financial can be a valuable resource in times like this. With a lawsuit
cash advance, plaintiffs can pay today's bills and patiently wait for a fair settlement
or verdict in the case before repaying the money. All that is needed to qualify
is a serious injury, viable lawsuit, and representation by an experienced attorney.
Applying for funding is quick and easy; there
are no credit checks, employment verification, or monthly payments. If
approved, a contract will be prepared and signed; funds can be made available
in less than 48 hours. Best of all, the cash advance will only be repaid once
the case successfully settles. Because funding is provided on a non-recourse
basis, if the plaintiff loses, the repayment is completely waived.
If you are the victim of a hit-and-run accident
or with an uninsured or underinsured negligent driver, but have uninsured
coverage on your policy, you may qualify for lawsuit funding. Complete our free,
